LAMCO is excited to announce that Andrew Zito, Executive Vice President of LAMCO, has been invited to attend the NAPA DC Fly-In Conference, a prestigious event that will bring together the nation’s top retirement plan advisors and high-ranking government officials to discuss several of the most important issues facing the retirement plan community today.
The elite forum will be highly interactive, with delegates getting the unique opportunity to engage in roundtable discussions, one-on-one visits with key Senators and Congressmen on Capitol Hill, and a Q&A session with the DOL. Less than 100 advisors were selected to attend the event, which will be held at the Washington Court hotel on Capital Hill on September 17th and 18th.
Some of the central issues that will be examined during the forum include:
- The impact of the DOL’s fee transparency initiatives, 408(b)(2) and 404(a)(5).
- The proposal to cap retirement savings accounts for top earners, and its potential impact on the overall retirement plan system.
- New legislation and regulation aimed at redefining the definition of a fiduciary.
Attendees will hear from policy makers like Senator Ben Cardin, member of the Senate Finance Committee, Representative John Kline, Chairman of the House Education and Workforce Committee, and Representative Ann Wagner of MO.
