As a child, Andrew always wanted to be an astronaut. Drawn, like many, to the challenge and impossibility of it all. When flying the Space Shuttle didn’t pan out, he naturally settled on a career working with something even more complex—retirement plans.
Today, his mission is to help employers maximize the effectiveness of their retirement plans while minimizing their administrative burden and fiduciary liability. He believes over-regulation has placed too much emphasis on plan operations and compliance, diverting attention from the true purpose of a plan—preparing employees for a comfortable retirement.
Andrew is responsible for overseeing LAMCO’s team of qualified retirement plan experts who specialize in the design, implementation, management of qualified retirement plans and the education of plan participants. Looking forward, his objective is to develop LAMCO’s service model in such a way that it streamlines plan compliance and puts a renewed focus on retirement readiness.
Andrew joined LAMCO in 2001. Before relocating to the firm’s headquarters in Florida, Andrew spent several years working directly in plan administration and administration systems in the firm’s Rhode Island and New York offices.
Andrew has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Bentley University in Boston, Massachusetts, and is a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA®).
